SMG Launches Chinese-Language Version of Project Leadership Live

Emma Rosen

Philadelphia, PA - Strategic Management Group, Inc. (SMG), the world leader in developing and implementing scenario and numerical business simulations that support change management and improved profitability, has completed a Chinese version of their popular Project Leadership Live (PLL) course. SMG has undertaken a full translation into simplified Chinese to meet rising demand from multinational and local corporations doing business in China. Now corporations can provide their P.R.C.-based employees the best simulation available for project leadership with Chinese language support.

SMG with its parent company BTS, can deliver business simulation training in the local dialect with on-location trainers, on six continents and in the following countries worldwide: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, Finland, Germany, Holland, Italy, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States. Its business simulations are held in high esteem in these and other countries because they offer high impact, discovery-based learning experiences.

"With its 1.2 billion population and the fastest growing major market in the world, corporations doing business in China have an immediate need for leadership training in the project management arena," said Rommin Adl, president and CEO of SMG, Inc. "Project Leadership Live in simplified Chinese leverages SMG?s scenario simulation approach that is considered by leading corporations around the global as best in class for increasing project effectiveness."

The Project Leadership Live course comprises two or three days of interactive teaching and an immersive simulation in which teams of participants make decisions as a project manager and see the results in a highly realistic scenario-based simulation. The team translating PLL chose simplified Chinese subtitles to accompany English language audio and visual screens; as well as allowing for faster implementation, English audio provides additional language training desired by trainers for the market and adds realism to the simulation.

"China's globalization and fast paced growth has put pressure on China based companies to improve the quality of their products and services. This has led to an increased need to better the management of projects," said SMG Consulting General Manager and PLL Master Trainer Qian Peng. "Through existing offerings of Project Leadership Live and The Complete Project Manager, we have been able to help customers raise the standards of their project management. PLL with Chinese language support will help to further SMG's position in helping customers achieve their quality goals."
